Ms. Aradhana Johri, Additional Secretary, Department of National AIDS control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India

Ms. Aradhana Johri is a senior Indian Administrative Officer having more than 32 years of experience in various sectors. She has worked in Government of Uttar Pradesh as well as in Government of India.

She has a Master of Arts from Lucknow University and Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, USA. She has about 15 years of experience in the health sector. She has worked as secretary, health and family welfare, Government of U.P. headed USAID funded State Innovations in Family Planning Services Project Agency (SIFPSA) a US$ 325 million project for Reproductive Child Health in the state of Uttar Pradesh, done a stint with WHO in the polio program and held the post of joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Headed State AIDS control programme in the state of Uttar Pradesh and presently working as Additional Secretary in the Department of AIDS control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

She has chaired Sessions and written many papers for various international conferences in the field of health and family welfare including the Global Health Conference, International AIDS conference etc.
