Mr. Rahman has worked extensively in the areas of Family Planning, Maternal Child Health, Nutrition and HIV /AIDS for over 25 years. His core expertise is in the field of Social Marketing particularly in the strategic planning and implementation of programs that are designed with a focus on sustainability and involving significant private sector partnerships. Mr. Rahman has worked for the Bangladesh Social Marketing Company for over 15 years and has helped guide the organization to become one of the largest and fully sustainable social marketing entity globally. He is currently the Managing Director of the company. From 2003 to 2007 he worked as the Country Director Futures Group Pakistan and the Chief of Party of the USAID funded Key Social Marketing project where he lead a program to expand the role of the commercial private sector in contraceptive manufacturing, supply and in creating demand for full priced products. In July 2008, he joined the Population Council as the Reproductive Health Advisor for the FALAH project in Pakistan and later became the COP. Mr. Rahman holds a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, USA. He is married with three children.
